Measures to support accessibility
Rodd Duff takes the following measures to ensure our website is accessible, to the greatest extent possible, within the limitations imposed by our clients:
Include an Accessibility Statement on the website.
Identify known accessibility shortfalls and invite notification of any additional issues detected by the website’s users.
Provide contact information of responsible party.
Additionally, we will:
- Provide ongoing accessibility training for our staff.
- Employ accessibility and usability specialists in the ongoing evaluation of our websites and any remedial actions.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines Success Criteria for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Rodd Duff strives to achieve a minimum of WCAG 2.0 Level A compliance on our site, and to constantly seek to improve. Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional accessibility considerations
Via various manual efforts, in combination with various accessibility tools as may be recommended by accessibility experts, we continue to strive to meet all WCAG 2.0+ Success Criteria.
